Paint-brand color names are inspiration; they are not automatic matches to James Hardie or vinyl siding colors. The three images below illustrate design ideas rather than documented Community Construction installations.
Greens and Warm Neutrals
The NAHB 2026 color roundup includes Midnight Garden by Dunn-Edwards, Warm Eucalyptus by Valspar and Universal Khaki by Sherwin-Williams. Use these as starting points for a coordinated palette.
Turn a Color Idea into a Product Selection
Deep green
Compare green siding samples beside roof shingles, window frames and masonry. Check the exact profile and finish offered in each color.
Muted green
Review the sample in sun and shade. Nearby trees and surrounding materials can change how the color appears.
Warm khaki or cream
Compare undertones with stone and brick. View trim beside the main siding instead of choosing each in isolation.
Brown or red accents
Try a smaller area such as a gable, door or trim detail before committing to a full exterior palette.
